Volunteer(s) Needed: Hospitality Coordinator
The chapter seeks an individual or individuals to fill the position of Hospitality Coordinator. The duties of the Hospitality Coordinator are to work with the Chapter Chair on the Fall and Spring Potlucks and the New Year’s Day event, and to work with the Vice-Chair for Education on the Outdoors-Indoors presentations. The two potlucks involve working with the Chapter Chair in preparing the room, bringing and setting up the beverages and table settings, and overseeing the clean up. The New Year’s Day event is similar, but involves light snacks rather than a potluck. The Outdoors-Indoors series involves having coffee, tea and cookies for the attendees.
The chapter has the coffee makers, and there is a budget for the coffee, tea, and other expenses. Duncan and Lois Cutter are in their third year serving in this position, and they have done a great job. Everyone should thank them for their efforts at the spring potluck. They would like to pass the baton on to someone else by the end of the year - or even sooner. It would be ideal if someone would volunteer for this position and work with the Cutters to be trained at the spring or fall potluck.
Anyone interested in volunteering, or finding out more about the position should contact Tom Ortmeyer at firstname.lastname@example.org, or 315-265-8219.
