The Nominating Committee announces the candidates
for the offices to be filled in 2006 for two year terms. The elections for
this slate will be held at the Annual Meeting on Nov. 6, 2005 at which time
nominations may also be made from the floor provided the nominee has given
The Committee submits the names of the following candidates:
Chair, Tom Ortmeyer Tom is co-editor of the Northwind along with his wife, Ann. Before undertaking the co-editorship he served as Vice-Chair Conservation and in that capacity he attended many UMP hearings speaking out in particular on ATV issues. Tom is Co-Chair along with Eileen Wheeler for the Club 2006 Fall Outing to be held in Cranberry Lake. He is a frequent leader of Chapter outings.
Director, Tom Wheeler Tom’s term as Club President concludes this year. His valuable service helped get the Club through some difficult years. He has graciously consented to continue to serve representing the Chapter on the Board of Directors. Tom has represented the Chapter on the Board of Directors before and has been Chapter Outings Chair. With all of his presidential duties, he still finds time to lead Chapter outings.
Vice-Chair, Education Rose Rivezzi Rose is a long time Chapter member who with her husband, David Trithart, wrote the hiking guide for children Kids on the Trail! Rose is a teacher in the Parishville Hopkinton School. She and David frequently lead Chapter outings.
Secretary, Pat Mueller Pat and her husband recently moved to Colton from Texas where Pat was a counselor specializing in Chemical Dependency and for the last few years worked with the homeless in Houston. Pat was drawn to the north country because of the healthy environment – physically, spiritually and politically.
Alternate Director, Carolyn Kaczka A former Chapter Chair, Carolyn has represented the Chapter on the Board of Directors and has served two terms as Club Vice President as well as working on many Club and Chapter Committees. She also has lead many Chapter outings.
