Good grief, what a winter; rain and 50 degrees in January, very little snow, cancelled trips. Let’s hope for a great spring! While we were on a barge trip in Louisiana and Texas in January, I kept watching the weather, afraid that I was missing some good skiing. Well, I guess we didn’t miss much! Once again my thanks to those folks who led trips, and those who have agreed to lead more. As always, I am eager to hear from people about trips they would like to lead, or trips they would like to see the chapter offer. A good way to get started, for those who are a bit reluctant, is to co-lead a trip with an experienced leader. If you are in this category, let me know and I’ll try to find a co-leader for you.
